As an incoming transfer student, you will want to know how the college courses you've taken will fit into DSU's graduation requirements. We aim to make your transition as easy as possible so you can get the most out of being a Blue Hawk.
There is a one-time application fee of $35.
Official College Transcripts
We require official college transcripts from all colleges/universities you have attended after high school graduation. Transcripts can be sent from your school in an officially sealed envelope OR through Parchment, Clearinghouse, or another certified transcript service. You must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
You are considered a transfer student for purposes of admission if you have completed any college credit hours after high school graduation. If you have earned less than 24 college credit hours, you are also required to meet First-Year Student admission requirements. Once you are admitted, our Office of Academic Records will evaluate your transfer credits. For more information, visit the Transfer Student Evaluations page.
